CYCLISTS' SMOKE CONCERT.
The official opening of the Wellington Cycling Club s new rooms in Willis Street which was held on Thursday evening, took the form of a snioko concert. A li.rgo number of members and friends were present, Dr. A. Izard (president) presiding. Among those present was the Hon F. M. IS. 'Fishery II.P. The president, on behalf of the members present, congratulated Mr. Fisher on his appointment to the Cabinet. Musical items were freely contributed, some of the numbers being rendered in. capital style. Those , ' who contributed were: Messrs. H. A T . Fletcher, Whittam, J. Dykes, C. Young, C. Read, D. Kenny, Dr. Isaacs, Digby, Toi Heketa. Sutherland, Dick, Zachariah, C. M'Gill, and Minify. During'the evening the following toasts were honoured: —"The King," "The Visitors," "The Ladies," and "The Cvcling Club." The member/ new rendezvous consists of one large room and several ante-rooms. The large room has three billiard tables in it, and a number of long, comfortable forms and seats are provided. •
