The disorganisation of the steamer services between New Zealand and England, caused by tho London strike, will result in a rueh of shipping to New Zealand ports nest month. At present there are no fewer tlinu eight- steamers from London, two from Liverpool, three from Montreal, and five from New York on their way to Wellington, via way ports. Bound from Montreal to Wellington, via way ports, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Matatua arrived at Auckland at 8.45 a.m. yesterday. It was anticipated that departure would be taken for Wellington early this morning. If this was the ca.se, the Matatua should show up here oil Sunday. TAINUI ARRIVES HOME. By wireless Last evening the Union Company's steamer Taluno advised that she was expected to arrive at Auckland from Rarotonga at noon to-day, 1 The Blue Funnel Line will very shortly have their fleet augmented by two new steamers of 15.000 ,tons each. They will . both have accommodation for about 350 first-class passengers, and are of the Aoneas, Ascanius, and Anchlses class, which are well-known vessels of the same company.
