(SpeciiHj writtoo for Tnx Douimeif.) TIIUESDAY. Vegetable Soup. Eoast Mutton. Bed Currant Jellv. Baked Potatoes. Cabbage. Bird's Nest Pudding. BIRD'S NKST PUDDING. One pint and a half water, -Jib. topioca (a good half-cup), U cooking apple?, a few raisins, loz. butter, a little sugar, cloves. Soak tlio tapioca for sonic hours (or overnight) in half-pint of water; pour the rest of the water over it, anil ioil until it is nearly cooked; peel the apples thinly, and cut out the cores with a core-cutter; put two clov?s in each, and place them in a buttered pie-dish; put stoned raisins .in the holes left by the cores; sprinkle a little sugar over, cover with tapioca, and bake for an hour. FOE TO-MORROW. White Stock. Sclinapper. Two dozen Oysters. Cocoa. Breadcrumbs.
