Beat the butter and sugar to a cream, add the yolks of eggs, and enough milk to make the batter drop oft the spoon. Add flavouring and salt. Whip the whites of eggs to a stiff froth, and stir in lightly. Put into a butter mould decorated with a few currants, raisins, and candied peel. Steam 1J hours. Serve with custard or German sauce. FOE TO-MORROW. Vegetables. Stock. Leg of Mutton. Eed Currant Jelly. Cabbage. Tapioca. Apples. Baisins. Cloves.
