Mr. Roosevelt said ho eought to introduce the observance of the Ten Commandments and. the Golden Rule • into American public life. Ho replied to critics, who accused him of association with Mr. Perkins, Mr. Piorpont Morgan's associate. Mr. Perkins, he Baid, had been absolutely convinced of the value and justice of a progressive Republican, movement and had l joined it bona fide.
