A Mexican Joan of Arc, with ten rebel leaders as followers, entered the town of Jaurcz and disarmed tho Chief of Police and six men. Thi> woman's followers reenred tho police horses and entered Die stores and demanded provisions. After holding the town for a few hours they roilo away. It is believed that the leader is the wife of Colonel Lozro Alamis, a rebel commander operating round Palomas. Tho vigilance guard has been armed to prevent further invasions.
