JIAGARA LAUNCHED ON THE ■' . ' CLYDE.. Jsy Telegraph—Pros3 Association—Copyrfelit London, August 18. Mrs. Borden, wife' of the Canadian Prime Minister, launched the Union Steam Ship Company's new eteamer Niagara at Clydebank. The vessel will be able,to burn oil and coal. Mr. Borden, speaking at a luncheon, said the lines of steamships were arteries of the Empire, and must bo seoured. Ho hoped the "Niagara foretokened much greater developments between Canada end Australasia.
