It is intended to erect sentry Ixixos, such as already exist at somo points round London; at intervals of ten miles on the main roads round all important cities. Each sentry box will be fitted with a telephone connected with the nearest exchange, and the use of the telephones, except for trunk calls, will be free to tho niumbers.
