STRANDED IN TASMANIA.' By TelccraDli-Proja Association- CoDyrizM Hobart, August 17. The Premier has promised a Ministerial inquiry into tho circumstances leading to several Indians taking orchard land near Dovonport. Six of tho Indians have signed statements that they threw up good positions in India, and that they understood that the agent who sold the land was octingon behalf of tho Government. They alleged they were misled by lithographed copies of letters heaving tho Government seal. Somo of tho Indians are now stranded.
