TRIPOLI CAMPAIGN.
ENGAGEMENT ON TUNISIAN FRONTIER. \ By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. August 18, 5.5 p.m.) Rome, August 17. The Italian forces at Zuara, in Tripoli, have advanced six miles, and are occupying a range of hills in order to cut off Turkish supplies from the Tunisian fronties. Tho position was carried after a hard day's fighting. Six persons w°re killed and 98 wounded. The Turkish losses were heavy. 'A BASIS OP PEACE. (Kec. August 19, 0.20 a.m.) Constantinople, August 18. It is stated that as the result of private pourparlers tho Turkish and Italian delegates have discovered a basis.of peace.
