SYDNEY'S FLOURISHING STATE. By Tciesraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, August 17. At a meeting of the Secondary Teachers' Association, Professor Berry, Professor of Anatomy at Melboumo University, referred to the remarkable progress mado by tho Sydney University during tho last fivo years. He stated that the professorships there would be increased by 18 to 36, and the University was likely to become one of the finest in the Empire. Melbourne required from a quarter to half a million of money to go ahead properly.
