BOY'S NARROW ESCAPE.

SAVED BY THE MOTORMAN. The promptitude of a tramway motor, man was mainly responsible 'for •the avoidauco of .a bad accidout in Lambton Quay, near the Occidental Hotel, yesterday morning. A boy was riding a bicyclo along the Quay, and when the car was closo upon him the machine skidded, and throw the youth in the track of tlio fcraincar. The motonhan dropped tho guard and applied tho brako so quickly that instead of tho boy being run over ho was pushed along in front of tho car until tho car was stepped. Tho littlo follow and his bicycle did not seem to bo much tho worse for tho adventure. This is tho second narrow escape of serious mishap to n child, ou tho Quay, this week. In both instances tho escapes have been somewhat remarkable.
