EPIDEMIC OF BURGLARIES By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. August 15, 10.10 p.m.) Sydney, August 15. Burglars have again been aotive during the last few days. One safe has been robbed and unsuccessful attempts to rob two others have been made.
. A resident of Waverley hred at a man entering his house, and chased him. The burglar, however, knocked his pursuer down and escaped.
