ARMED BANDITS.
CALIFORNIAN RANCH ROBBED. By Teleeraph—Press Association—Copyright San Francisco, August 14. Four armed bandits held up a ranch in tho Holycross district. They handcuffed six men and one woman and illtreated them. They then robbed the buildings, and 'escaped with a sum of money. The bandits- secured admittance by claiming that t'hoy were police officers searching for murderers. Tho robbers escaped"* in an automobile. Labourers arriving hastened their, departure.
