RUSSIAN NOTE FORGERIES.

Owing to the discovery by tho police of a. forger's, outfit, the Russian Government has withdrawn from circulation two million roubles (nearly ,£2OO, COO) worth* of note,. Nine persons, all Russians, were concerned in the. forgeries. Two (a man and, a. woman) escaped to Paris, where they were arrested.
