Cattle sold well, but shedp met with rather a dragging sale, and we passed in several lots. Store ewes, ss. lid.; hoggets, up to 13s.- 2d.; light fat ewes, 155. id.; ewee in lamb, to 18s. 9d.; store heifers, £2 55.; empty cows, £3 Is;.; better do., to £3 10s.; backward calvers, £3 10s.; yearling heifers. £2 65.; springing heifers, £4 ss. to £4 lEs.; late springing cows, £5 155.; springing heifers, to £5; bulls, £2 ss. Messrs. Williams and Kettle, Ltd., report having hold their fortnightly sale last week in Millar's Road yards, when they offered a- medium yarding of sheen and cattle to the usual attendance of the public. Eighteen-month heifers, empty, £2; three-year hoifers. empty, £3 165.; twoyear steers, £4 lis.; three-year steers, £5 13s. 6d.; dairy cows (culls), £2 10s.; fat cows (Oringi), £7; hoggets, mixed-sex, i'e. 2d.; two-tooth to a.m. owes in lamb, 15s. 6t1.; guajanteod s.m. owes in lamb (Oringi). 16s. 2d.; empty.ewes (old), Bs. 3d.; stud Lincoln ewes, 1J to 1J guineas; fat maiden ewes, 235.
