ST. ANDREW'S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

The anniversary services in connection with St. Andrew's 'Presbyterian Church, Wellington Terrace, wore held yesterday, being conducted bv the Rev. Thomas Tait, of St. Paul's Church. Christchurch. In the morning he preached a very helpful and interesting sermon on "Conscience," basing his remarks on Acts, xxiv., 16, "And herein do 1 exercise myself, to hove always a conscience void of offence toward God nnd toward men." Mr. Tait, who is very clear and impressive in his delivery, hold the close attention of the congregation throughout his discourse. ITo preached again in (ho evening to a very large congregation. To-morrow (Tuesday) evening a convovsaziono will bo held in St. Andrew's Hall.
