* : DISPUTE SETTLED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, August 10. The dispute between tho Federal and State Governments over tho GovornorGcneral'a residence in Sydney has been settled. Lord Denman remains in possession, tho Federal Government paying a rental of about £1500 yearly. The rental is reckoned at tho rate of 3} per cent, on the capital value, and will depend on the area of land required. The arrangement is only to hold.good during Lord DenmanVtenuro of offico, whereupon it reverts to the Stnto.
