The reply was that Neale would be. reinstated when he apologised for disobedience-. After tho meeting the men decided thai the tt-uckers would resume work when Neale was reinstated, and a promise given that crib timo would not be encroached on. Further negotiations with the management result in a deadlock, but there will bo some men working to-day.

Deceased who was 29 years of ago, and a native of Liverpool, yas • making the trip for the benefit of his health, as he suffered from consumption.
