NCAMOTU OIL FIELDS, LTD. The attention of investors is directed to an announcement in this issue referring to the NEaraotu Oil Fields, Ltd., New Plymouth, a company formed for the purpose of acquiring as freeholds various oilproducing lands at Moturoa, Frankley ltoad, New Plymouth, and at Bell Block, comprising in all some 54 acres. The directors of the new company, who are wellknown and reputable business men in New Plymouth, arc Messrs. F. C. J. BcltrhiEor, merchant; J. H. Parker, jeweller; L. 0. Sla-dden, C.E.; F. McjsenEcr. architect; and T. Avery, bookseller; with Mr. D. M'AUum as secretary. It is interesting to ■ note that ono area of the laud to be operated upon lies almost in the trianclo of the liast of the famous No. 2, 3, and 5 flowing wells of the Taranalrf Oil Wells, Ltd., and arrangements have been made with this company to supply at the inset gas for fuel purposes. The same company has also asreed to purchase the new company's output of oil, or to refine it at the new refinery on commission'. This refinery is now being erected, bo that when operations are commenced by the Ncamotu Company there may be no hitch hi the way of placing busino=E on a payable basis. The advantage of an Independent company operating near the Taranaki Oil Fields concern is sufficiently obvious, and in fact the system has been approved by all authorities in oil regions in various parts of the world. It is further interesting to note that the new company will not require to pay any royalties on oil won, nor is any amouot'renulrod for froodwlll. No director, it is stated, hos any interest in promoting the company othor than such as ho acquires by becoming a contributing shareholder. The 'capital of the company, is £50.000, divided into 50,000 shares of £1 each. In order to minimise clerical work applications arc not being entertained for fewer than five shares.
