HUNDRED LIVES LOST. IJy Teleeraph-Prcss Aesociation-CopyrieM (lice. August 9, 10.10 p.m.) Berlin, August 9. A terrible colliery disaster has occurred at the Lolliringon pit at Ilochuui, in the province of Westphalia. An explosion of fire-damp occurred in Hie mine vhilo 050 'men were below, and 103 men were killed. Twenty others ore dangerously injured. ]t is feared that 30 men are still entombed. The. colliery is on lire, and 1 some- of the bodies were incinerated. The rescue of the entoinbi'd miners was only effected with difficulty, owing to the scone of the disaster being a, mile and a quarter from \io shaft.
