Present Indications aro for moderate to strong southerly winds, backing again to westerly and increasing southward of Ka.whiaj arid Castlepoint. (The barometer has a rising tendency in the north, but will probably fall in the south. Fair to cloudy weather probable generally, but unsettled on the West Ooaat and southern districts of tho South Island, for another westerly storm area appears to be developing on the Tasman Sea. The barometer rose everywhere during the night, and west to south-westerly winds, strong to gale, have prevailed. Tho weather was stormy, cspccidlly in the south, last night, but improved to-day.
