4 The twenty-third annual meeting of Si'. David's Church members and adherents whs held on Wednesday night. Thero was a good attendance. The Annual report of the Kirk Session referred to tho marked progress that had taken place in all department.? of the church's work. Special mention was made of the activities of tho Ladies' Missionary Union, Iho Young l'coplo'3 Temperance Society, Iho Service of Praise, and the Sunday School. The Ladies' Sewing Guild, 100, as well as the ladies who collected in aid of tho Sustentation Fund, received appreciative reference in the.'report, financially, llw past year was the most successful for nearly seven years past. The general support accorded the church in this direction was most encouraging.
