MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before Dr. M'Arthur, S.M.) At the Magistrate's Court on Saturday, Annie Costello was convicted of the theft of a muff and a muffler belonging to Catherine M'Carthy. She was ordered to appear for sentence when called on. For insobriety, Norman M'Phee was fined 105... and Thomas Llewellyn Jones 20s. ■ ■' . Henry Charles Geige was fined ' £i for having broken a prohibition order. A juvenile was cautioned and discharged respecting two charges of the theft of money from the steamer- Arahura, and auother youth was remanded till next Saturday on charges of his having stolen a money order and postal notes from local business firms.
