FOR REFORM.
GKEAT DEMONSTRATION TO-NIGHT. The accession to power of the Reform party, and the resultant birth of a now era in New Zealand politics, will bo celebrated this evening in ii great public demonstration at ; the Town ■ Hall. A general invitation is extended to members of Urn public to be present. No other restriction will be placed upon Attendance than tlio limits of the accommodation which the Town Hall afford";. Speeches will be delivered by the. Hon. \V. F. Massey (l'rinio Minister); the Hon. .las. Allen*(Minister for Finance); the Hon. F. M. li. Fisher (Minister for Customs and Murine); the Hon. A. L. llcrdman (Attorney-General and Minister for Justice) ; the Hon. W. H. Merries (Minister for Kailwavs); Dr. A. IC. Newman, M.P., and Mr. Vl r . H. D. Bell, M.P. During the evening Mr. Fisher's Election Committee will make him a presentation to mark his elevation to Ministerial rank.
The doors will bo opened at 7 p.m., and the proceedings will commence at 8 p.m. Those intending to be present are advised to bo at the hall early.
