. 9 The. vital statistics for the month of July show that in Auckland there wero 283 "births, 91 deaths, and 120 marriages, 12 of the last-named being by the Registrar These' figures are a decided improvement upon those recorded in July, 1911, which read:—Births, 348; deaths, 139; marriages, 101, 25 of the last-mentioned being by tho Registrar. Tho figures for the first seven months of tho present year, compared with thoso for the corresponding periods of 1911 and 1910, are:1912. 1911. 1910.
