TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for Tub Dosiimioh.] TJIUKSDAY. Vegetable soup. Corned beef. Dumplings. Carrots, Potatoes. Apple Amlx'ipudding. APPLE AMBER PI'DDIXG. Six large apples, 1. dessertspooniul of butter, 3 egg.-, sugar to taste, juice and rind of 1 lemon, a pineli of salt, flaky pastry. I'eel and slice the apples, add the juice and grated peel of the lemon, and cook to n pulp. Add the butter and let it cook a little. Boat in tho yolks of the eggs and sweeten to taste. Line the edges of a piedish with puff •or flaky pastry. Put in the apple mixture, and boko in a moderate oven for 25 or .10 minutes. Beat the white of eggs to a stiff froth, add 3 tablespoons of icing sugar and a little lemon juice. Bake in a cool even until crisp. I'OE TO-MOIiROW. Half pint lentils, lfake filleted for frying. Two dozen, oysters. Suet. l r ruit.
