RAILWAY APPEALS.
CONCERNING THE VETO. Asked by .Mr. W. A. Veitch to-day whether lie was prepared to introduce aii amendment to tho Government Railways Act to abolish tho Ministerial veto on the decisions of the liailwny Appeal Hoard, the Hon.' W. 11. llerries. Minister for Railways, replied: "I- shall be glad io give this matter full.consideration before certain proposals that are now being reviewed in connection with the Government Railways Act are determined."
