FACTORY REGISTRATIONS FOR THE YEAR. A CONSIDERABLE DECREASE. According to tho annual list of creameries, factories, private dairies ■ 'and house.?- registered under the Dairy Industry Act, 1908, as at April 30 last, tho total registrations were 713, as against 777 at April 30, 1911. Creameries' show a falling oil' of 13 and factories increased by six. Tho heaviest decrease is in private butter dairies, which fell off by 56. There wos an increase of one in private cheese dairies. The number of packing houses (81) remains the «imc as last year. Private dairies in Auckland numbered .GG 011 April 30, 1911, and now only total 11.
