The annual gathering in connection with the Hawko's Bay Amateur Boxing Championships is to bo held at tho Princess i'hoatre this evening. A special trophy is being presented for the most scientific boxer. In (he absence of Mr. S. Gregory,, Mr. Rosenberg will act as referee. Some months ago application was mudo bv Mr. Gavin Allan (secretary of the Hastings General Labourers' Association) to the Department of Labour for the erection of six workers' homes under the Workers' Dwellings Act.
