THE TEST MATCH.
PITCH TOO WET FOR PLAY. By Tclcgra-ph—Press Association—Copyri'eht (Rec. July 30, 1.20 a.m.) London, July 29. The pitch at Manchester this morning was saturated, and play in the Test match between England and Australia has been delayed. There has been three days' rain, and rain fell for several hours this morning, but has now ceased, though tho weather is still threatening and boisterous. The wicket is almost under water. The gates were not opened.
