LIBERAL LAND POLICY.
NO EATING OF IMPROVEMENTS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Gopyrfeht London, July 28. The President of the Board of Agriculture, Mr. Walter Runciman, speaking at Eston Grange, in Oxfordshire, denounced , tho idea of rating land higher because it could bo put to better use- and buildings because they were improved. A man having a Lad cottage ought to bo penalised, and the man having a good cottage helped. This would be one of tho benefits of the Liberal land policy.
