SOLITARY CONFINEMENT.
1 __ PORTUGUESE ROYALIST'S SEVERE SENTENCE. Bj Telesrapli—Press Association—CoDrrteht Lisbon, July \!8. Jan Almeida, a Royalist, has been sentenced to six years' solitary confinement for participating in the late rebellion. Following this sentence, he will be deported for ten years, or, alternatively, serve twenty years in a fortress. ■
