Is falling steadily, and there are floods in the Hawkesbury district, J)'«ars ; are 'felt regarding the missing ketch Candidate, which, is fifteen days out from Oamden Harbour. (Reo. July SO, 0.50 a.m.) Later. All hope of the safety of the ketch Candidate has been abandoned. j The Hawkesbury Rivoi is falling, and jjfears of a,big flood are subsiding. I To-day was another day of incessant 'rain. The coastal rivers are rising, : and tho low-lying lands on the Hunter River
are flooded.
