(By Tolegraph.— Special Correspondent.) Masterton, July 28. The Masterton Chess Club played a tele- ' graphic match with Hamilton Club last night. Only one game was. completed,, end that was a draw. Tho others are to be submitted to oßicial adjudicators in Wellington. All tho football matches fixed for yesterday were postponed on account of the inclement weather.
