DISTRICT REPORTS. (From Our Special Correspondents.) Wangiantii, July 27.—A cold, raw morning was followed by a dull, chcorlcss day. Feildinp, July 28.—Saturday was fine in the morning, and wet in tho afternoon and nights Sunday was showery and windy. Palmorston North, 'July 28.—Iji&ht rain foil at intervals on Saturday. Sunday was fine, but dull and threatening* Shannon, July 27.—Weather still unsettled. Manawatu River still "high. Otaki, July 27.—Tho weather to-day was changeable. Maoterton, July 27.—A further downpour of rain occurred to-day. Eo far, tho registration for the month is about 13in. Carterton, July 27.—The weather is 6till dull, and rnin showers fall at frequent Intervals. The flood-water is slowly getting away. Greytown, July 27.—The weather is still wet. The flood-water has somewhat subHided, hut. if rain continues, another flood is inevitable. Feathers ton, July 27.—Intermittent rafcnv buit no wind. ——- 353
