TODAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for Tits DomsiOH.) MONDAY. Palestine soup. Meat Pic. Mashed Potatoes. Cauliflower. Lemon and Broad Pudding. MEAT PIE. Ono pound and a quarter of cold beef, one tablespoonl'ul of flour, half a pint of slock, two teaspoonfuls salt, one small onion, two hard-boiled eggs, two tablespoons of tomato sauce ov one tablespoonful chili sauce, salt and pepper. Mix the flour with two tablespoonfuls of stock or water until smooth. Cut the meat into neat slices, free from skin and gristle. Put thorn into a piedish with slices of egg, onion, and seasoning alternately. Pour over the gravy and sauce. Cover with a good flakey crust, brush with egg, and bake for one hour aijd a half. If tho crust is cooking too quickly, cover with buttered paper. ' FOR TO-MORROW. Ox kidney, stock, shoulder of mutton, cabbage, lemons, pastry.
