Consequently, it was not expected to arrive- at the northern port before 1 a.m. on: Monday,, too late for her-mails to connect with the-Main Trunk express for Wellington, ' BAD WEATHER DELAYS RIPPLE. On account of the recent bad Weather at Wellington, Messrs. Richardson and Co.'s steamer Ripple has been set back in her loading programme. Tho vessel was expected to leave for Napier and Gifiborne at 6 a.m. to-day. Her usual trip from this port to Napier and Gisborne will bo abandonod next week, and she will take rap her ordinary running again on Tuesday, /August 6. THE DRAYTON GRANGE. In continuation of her journey from Liverpool tho F. and S. liner Drayton Grange left Auckland for Wellington at noon yesterday. Expected to arrive in port on Sunday evening, tho Drayton Grange will berth at the King's Wharf to dlsdiargo 2300 tons of cargo. Departure will be taken for Lyttclton and Timaru on August 2.
