The Urilla (1965 tons), ono of the Adelaide Company's newest cargo steamers, struck a rock iu. the Whitsunday passage, and was beached, to prevent her from sinking. No. 1 and 2 holds are full of water. The'crow arc- safe. Later. The Urilla ia badly damaged and her position i.<s awkward. It is impossible to tow her off under propont conditions.
