Mr. Foster, the Canadian Minister of Trade, lias stated in an interview that the Imperial Trade Commission, -will finish, its British investigation in the middle of December, and will arrive in New Zealand in March, and remain, two months. On arriving in Australia on May 1, Mr. Foster will discuss tho proposed CanadianAustralian, reciprocity treaty with tho Commonwealth Minister for Customs.
