With a view to promoting more cordial gelations with New Zealand, the Federal Government proposes to extend to New Zealanders residing in Australia the right to the old age pension. It is hoped that New Zealand'will reciprocate. As the law now stands, pensioners must have resided in Australia' for twenty years.
