Dalget.y iind Company, Limited (Palmerston North branch), report:—At out weekly sale at Palmereton North, on Thursday, only ai small yarding of stock came to luwid, owing, to the wet weather, and realised as follows:—Mixed hoggct3, lln. 6d.; cull ewes, in lamb, 6s. 2d.; fat ewes, 143. 6d. to 14s. Bd.: 6tore cows, £2 155.; springing heifers, £6. At our Huntervillo Gale, on Tuesday, a modinm entry of stock came to hand, which sold readily as below:—OuU lambs, Bs.-2d.: small mixed twotooths, 10s. Id.; forward ewes, to 13s. 7d.; K lint of 120 fat wethers realised 20s. «.: and a. pen of empty heifers Bold at £3 4s. 6d. Messrs. Dalgety and Co. report:— Wa have to rc-port having held a successful 'clearing sale on Wednesday, on account of Mr. B. Woods, of "Wainui," Taihape. . Althouch the weather was bad, snow lying heavily on the ground, there was a large attendance, buyer 3 beta,? present from as far down the lino as Feilding and Palmerston North. Bidding was gooa throughout, and prices realised were highly satisfactory to vendor:—Harrows, £3 ICe.; e.f. plough, £5 153.; discs. £9 7s. 6d.; roller, £12 7s. 6d.: binder, £13; d.f. plough, £14 55.: drill. £29; dray, £8 ss. Li<rht horses, £6 ICs. to £8 10s.; two-year half-draught filly, £14 10s.; three-year ditto, £21 10s.;'fouryear ditto, £23 155.; aged draught geldinsc, £12 10s.; eight-year draught gelding. £30: draught'marc, in foal, £33 ICs. Sheep: Mixed , hoggets, medium claes, 10s.' Id. .to Us.; four-tooth to s.m. ewes, in lamb, 16s. Cattle: Wcaner steers, £2 2s. 6d.; yearling heifers, £2 11s.; dairy heifers. £6 to £6 195.: backward dairy cows, £5; dairy cow, August calver,£B 15s. ; Messrs. Dalgety and 00. report:—At our Feilding sale, yesterday, a very good yarding of sheep and cattle met with a good demand. Small mixed hoggets, %. Bd. u> iOi. 5d.: very fair wether hoggets, to 12s. 5d.; medium mixed hoggets, to 12s. Id.; pood ewo hoggets, to 13s. Id.; empty ewes, to 11s. 9d'.; forward ewca, to 13s. 5d.; small <mo-tooth wethors, to 14s. Bd.; light fat and forward wothors. to 17s. 6d.; light fat ewes, to 15e. Id.; four-year ewes, in lamb, to 11s. 9d.; forward ewes, to 13s. 5d.; amali heifers, to £4 75.; backward dairy cows, to £4 17s. 6d.: rising three-year forward Shorthorn heifers, £5 to £5 75.; light fat cows, to £5 75.; three and a, half-year bullocks, to £6 17s. . The New ZeaJand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd,, report:—At Fcilding, yesterday, owing to the extremely rough weather, stock advertised did not come forward in full numbore. We disposed of all our sheep and most of the cattle at satisfactory pr.icos, and quote as follows: — Mixed hoggetsj 12s. 3d.; woolly hoggets, to 135.; good owes,, in lamb, to 18s .63.; cull owos, 25.; store cows, £2 195.; springing heifors, £5 3s. 6d.; empty heifers, to £3; npringing cows, to £5 10s. . At Mossra. Gibsonc and Gardner's sale there was a fair attendance of buß'ere, and, notwir.h■standing the inclement weather, a very successful sale resulted, cows making various prices, up to £22 10s. The general avorage was £10 10s.. heifers making to £5 55.; boar, £1; sow, £2 10s. At lia.nenvahia, on Tu-escliy. a small yarding sold roadils n/t late rates. Medium mixed hoggets, 10s. 3d.; good mixed-age ewes, in lamb, 17s. 6d.; fat and forward ewes, 15s. 4d.; two-tooth wotters, 16s. 2d.; small wcaner steers, 325. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:— A-t Shannon, on Wedncfday, owin" to the vory wet day. stock did not come in up to advertised numbers. We had fair yardrags of both s.heop and rattle, and good competition cxi-ted for all classes, practically everything changing hands. Quotations:—Ewos in lamb.
