THE DUPPA STREET PAEK. A suggestion was submitted to the City Council by the Reserves Committee last evening that the uflino of "Wakefiold Park" bo substituted for tho name "Duppa Street Park," but thero were various counter-suggestions. Councillor Hindmarsh desired to have the reserve called "Island Bay Park," but his suggestion was ne-rarived on a division. Tho Mayor (Mr. D. M'Laren), remarking that he did not approve of "all this chopping and changing, thought that the name should stand as it was at present. He also vns outvoted on a division. Tho reserve, therefore, will in future be known as "Wakefield Park."
