An interesting demonstration takes place every afternoon this week, Saturday excepted, at tho new'sliow rooms, of Messrs. E. W. Mills and Co., Limited, ill Victoria Street, amd the public are cordially invited to call and seo the "Duplex" Fireless Cookers in actual use. These cookers will, it is claimed, if used By" the thrifty housewife, largely economise her fuel bill, her time, and her temper. Tho "Duplex" cooks, roasts meats, bakes, etc. There is also on exhibition the "Ideal" butter blender, and the visitor may see (lemonsl rated the Way to mako 211). of butler at (he cost of about ,Bd. per lb. It is stated that with one pound of fresh butter and one pint of milk over two pounds of excellent butter can, be made in about three minutes. There is likewise on show a variety of linndy utensils for tho bouse, such as knife-cleaners, marmalade slicers, "Sliino," dust mops and cloths, aluminium conking vessels, cinder sifters, and it will interest the housewifo to call and see tho many labour-saving novelties on show.
