ASSOCIATION.
The meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association was held last evening, llr. M r J£eowen presiding. The New Zealand Football Association notified that the Wangiinui Association had arranged to play its Brown Shield match with Garterbiiry on August 24, and suggested that the , Wellington Football Association make arrangements to play the winners, as soon as possiblo after that date. It v/as decided to suggest to the 'New Zealand Football Association that the match be played on August 10 irste&d of August 2f, tnus allowing Wellington metro time for their match. ■ A. letter and a telegram from the Hawke's Bay football Association, asking if .a Wellington team could .play Hawse's Bay representatives on August 17/ were considered The secretary had sfeon two of -the committee, and had telegraphed a .reply , accepting the offer of 33 l-3rd per cent, of the gate on Saturday, August 17.
