CHAMPION SAID TO BE OVER TRAINED.

Barry weighs 1011b., and is very fit after a week-end at Brighton. Pholps, Arnsfs trainer, states that ho is much more satisfied ivit.h Arnst than ho was a week ago. Arnst now weighs 1801b. 'l'lio "Daily Telegraph" Bays that those who havo sculled against Arnst in practico liavo no great opinion of his pace, though ho is very fast off tho mark, and never tires. Tho paper adds that Barry is paying especial attention to starting fast. If he can : show his old staying powers he may win, owing to his superior knowledge of the course, and the fact that Arnst is rather over-trained. ARNST DOING SOLID WORK. . (Rec.
