The Wellington Farriers' Union 'mtimated that it would be pleased to assist in promoting tho horse-shoeing competition at tiie Spring show. The Taranaki A. and P. Association wrote suggesting that associations holding winter shows should consult as to dates, so' as to prevent clashing. Three vacancies on the Finance Committee were filled by the appointment of Messrs. C. E. Pickering, St. C. Jounneaux, and E. J. Wylde. Various sub and schedule committees were set up for the ensuing year, and the matter of letting space at the Spring show was left to 3lajor Dunk, chairman of tho Ground Committee, and the secretary. There was a considerable amount of discussion over t.hc question of the supply of green feed at the Spring show, a motion to make a small charge for this being defeated. The chairman of the Ground Committee, however, was authorised to get three or i'om - acres of the Educatioi'l Reserve held by the association prepared at once for tho" growing of green, teed.
