TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially wriltoo fcr Tub Douixioh.) WEDNESDAY. Vermicelli soup. Curried mutton. Potatoes. Vegetable marrow. Eccles tarts. ECCLES TARTS. One ounce butter, 2ozs. brown sugar, loz. candied peel, 4ozs. currants, 1 teaspoonful of cinnamon, a little nutmeg, pastry. Cut tho candied peel into small pieces. Melt tho butter. Add the sugar, candied jieel, currants, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Do not cook, but let the butter and sugar melt. Roll the pastry out thinly, cut into rounds, and put a litMo mixture on each. Wet (lie edgos and pinch them together to form a ball. Turn over and roll round until the currants showthrough. Mark tho tops, sprinkle with sugar, and bake. FOR TO-MORROW. Almonds. Two pounds steak. Vinegar. Pumpkin. Suet. Apples. Sultanas.
