SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications aro tor strong south to south-easterly winds, with cold and changeable weather; squally and rhowery at times on tlio East Coast. The barometer will probably rise everywhere. The barometer has risen everywhere, and fair to clomly weather has predominated, but conditions havo been, very unsettled in .'tha southernmost distric.'s. and on tho Bast Coast ot the South Island this afternoon. Palmerston Korth, July 22.—Frost this morning; fine day. Otaki, July 22—Pine. Featlierston, July 22— Fine, but dull,and very cold. Greytown, July 22.—There was a frost this morning, followed by fine weather. Cloudy this afternoon. . Masterton, July 22—A very keen frost was experienced this morning, twelve degrees being registered. Cold dull day.'
