NEW ZEALAND REPRESENTATIVES,

Christchurch, July 19, Some (ime ago tho Government and tho different chambers of oommcrce in the Dominion received invitations to send representatives to the iifth International Congress of Commerce, to be held in Boston. Unito:! States of America.' The .Canterbury and Otago Chambers of Comiiiwco agreed to bo represented if the Government would consent • to their ropresontatives goiug as the accredited representatives of tho Govormnent. At a Cabinet meeting, hold shortly before the .Mackenzie Government went out of office, .Ministers agreed that tho representatives of the two cluunLois of commerce mentioned should go to tho congress as the accredited representatives of New Zealand. .As tho result of this decision, Messrs. A. Iwiyo (Canterbury Chamber of Commerce) and A. S. Patarson (OtneoChainbiT of Commerce) will attend tire congress at Boston, and will leave by the Mokoia for Vancouver on August 2.' The congress is to sit from September 21 to 2S, both days inclusive. It is understood that tho delegates are to bo entertained on a most lavish scale, one of tho arrangements mado being the chartering of ii special train for twenty days, in order lhat the itatarntan tuny visit all the priupiß>l>tifia in, JJh*j]j4te.d, States.
